Dream Catcher Housing Initiative

The Dream Catchers Housing Initiative was established by WRDC to expand homeownership and housing opportunities for the Menominee Community. Our mission is to make the dream of homeownership more accessible by simplifying and streamlining the often complex and costly construction process.
From start to finish, Dream Catchers manages every step of development — including selecting desirable residential properties, securing all required surveys, permits, reviews, and leases, preparing sites for construction, installing utilities, and building safe, high-quality, energy-efficient homes.
This turnkey approach allows Menominee families to purchase move-in ready homes, including those located on Tribal Trust Lands, while significantly reducing the financial and administrative challenges that typically accompany building a new home.
Dream Catchers Housing Initiative homes are available to qualified buyers who meet home purchase requirements and are eligible to obtain a residential lease for the land parcel. Through this effort, WRDC and Dream Catchers are building stronger families, a stronger community, and a stronger future for the Menominee Nation.

DCHI Pine Meadows Project
The Dream Catchers Housing Initiative, a 501(c)(3) division of WRDC, is proud to announce the launch of our first construction project — the beginning of many new housing opportunities to come for the Menominee Community.
Construction is underway on three new homes located at the end of Pine Meadows Road, which will be extended to include a new cul-de-sac. Each home will feature 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, with optional additions including a garage, deck, and 4th bedroom.
These homes will each be built on a one-acre Tribal Trust parcel, available to Menominee Tribal Members through a residential land lease.
The Pine Meadows Homes are expected to be available for purchase in late 2025 and completed in early 2026. This project marks an important milestone in Dream Catchers' mission to expand homeownership opportunities and build a stronger future for the Menominee Nation.
